2025 Toronto International Film Festival

Maizon led the planning, management, and execution of All About K-Culture & Travel, an official cultural showcase held during the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Hosted by the Korean Cultural Centre Canada in partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization, the event highlighted the richness of Korean cinema, culture, and tourism through interactive experiences, film-industry networking, and on-site activations in downtown Toronto.

Our team directed all aspects of the project. From booth design and experiential programming to staffing, volunteer management, and media coordination. By combining creative engagement zones such as the K-Content Dessert Experience, Hanbok Culture Box, and K-Travel Booth with strategic event operations and film-industry networking, Maizon successfully elevated Korea’s presence at TIFF and deepened cultural connection with Canadian audiences and global professionals alike.

Expanding Korea’s Cultural and Industry Presence at TIFF 2025

The All About K-Culture & Travel activation achieved outstanding engagement across both public and professional audiences. Over three days, the event drew thousands of visitors through interactive experiences, film promotions, and on-site activities that showcased the depth of Korean culture. The Business Networking Booth, featuring major industry players such as KOFIC, KFCIN, Barunson E&A, and CJ ENM, successfully hosted meetings with North American distributors, tourism officials, and cultural organizations, strengthening Korea’s visibility within the global film ecosystem.

The campaign also amplified Korea’s digital reach through coordinated online and social promotions, driving strong media coverage and audience participation that extended well beyond the festival period.
